Master's degree programs in the Lyle School of Engineering may be pursed through the Center if areas of interest do not belong strictly to any department, but are nevertheless meaningful in terms of courses offered by the school and faculty expertise. These programs are individually planned, and they follow relevant guidelines set forth by the Graduate Bulletin. In such cases, any faculty member of the Lyle School of Engineering may be assigned as the faculty advisor by the associate dean.
The Ph.D. degree in the Lyle School of Engineering may also be pursued in areas that do not belong strictly to any one department, but nevertheless are of interest to some faculty members of the school. In such cases, the composition of the supervisory committee will be more flexible in order to allow for the interdisciplinary nature of the program, with the single restriction that at least three of the five members of the supervisory committee are tenured or tenure-track faculty members in the Lyle School of Engineering.

托福80分；未能滿(mǎn)足托福分?jǐn)?shù)要求的學(xué)生，可以申請(qǐng)入讀南衛(wèi)理公會(huì)大學(xué)的英語(yǔ)強(qiáng)化課程（IEP）；GRE(數(shù)學(xué)不低于650分，閱讀不低于400分；分別相當(dāng)于新GRE151分和146分)；學(xué)費(fèi)：$23,555/年，申請(qǐng)截止日期5月15日
