普渡大學西拉法葉分校核工程

This degree program serves those seeking the Master of Science (M.S.) degree as well as those planning to work eventually toward the Ph.D. degree. A transition to the Direct Ph.D. program can be made during a master's program with the approval of the Graduate Committee provided that certain criteria are met.
Two master's degree titles are available through the School of Nuclear Engineering. a M.S. in Nuclear Engineering (M.S.N.E.) for students with a B.S. in a n engineering discipline and a M.S. for all other students. The degree programs available are (1) thesis option and (2) course-work option. Please note that the course-work option is intended for students planning to pursue a career in industry and is not encouraged for students interested in research.
The general mission of the School of Nuclear Engineering is to benefit the public at large with the knowledge of nuclear processes, applications and radiation science consistent with Purdue University's mission of maintaining excellence in teaching, research, and service. This knowledge will be disseminated through our students and the publications and presentations by our faculty.
