The Department of Mathematical Sciences offers a rich program of study at the graduate level. Students enrolled in the program may choose to pursue a M.S. degree and/or a Ph.D., and these pages are designed to give students useful information about the program as well as the requirements for both degrees. Graduate students select from a wide range of courses in the department, from upper level undergraduate courses to graduate level courses and special topics courses. As part of the degree requirements, students also take at least one course outside the department.
