The Master of Pharmaceutical Bioengineering program is an evening degree program designed to enable working local engineers, scientists, researchers and professionals in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical and related industries to explore advanced education in the areas of molecular and cellular biology, drug discovery and design, pharmaceutics and translational pharmaceutics.
UW Bioengineering offers a research-based Master of Science in Bioengineering degree program. Students come to this multidisciplinary biomedical research and engineering program from a wide array of backgrounds, including (but not limited to) bioengineering, chemical engineering, chemistry, physics, biology, computer science and electrical engineering. The Master of Science in Bioengineering requires a thesis.Receiving an M.S. from UW Bioengineering is evidence of ability to work as an engineer and researcher capable of some independent investigation and ability to present results of an independent investigation cogently.
