Fee
Applicants are required to submit a $100 non-refundable application fee.
As a way of honoring our valued alumni and those who serve our country, past and present, we offer application fee waivers to the following individuals:
University of Denver alumni
Current and former members of the U.S. military
Current and former members of Peace Corps
Current and former members of AmeriCorps
Current and former members of Teach for America
If you feel as though you qualify for an application fee waiver based on this criteria, please send us a document verifying your participation in one of these organizations (or for University of Denver alumni, please send us your DU ID) so that we can waive this requirement for you.
RL
Two letters of recommendation are required from individuals (non-relatives) who can evaluate your academic and/or work performance as well as your potential for success in graduate school. Please provide the email addresses of your recommenders when filling out the online application and let them know they will receive an email from Daniels with instructions on how to submit the completed recommendation form online.
Transcript
Applicants must request current transcripts from each higher education institution attended. Students must earn a regionally-accredited undergraduate degree (or international equivalent) prior to enrollment.
If transcripts are in a language other than English, applicants must submit original copies of the transcripts as well as official, certified English translations of those documents. Transcripts must be in officially sealed envelopes, sent directly from the issuing institution. Documents that arrive in opened envelopes and/or marked “issued to student” will not be considered official. For applicants who attended regionally-accredited educational institutions in India, we require individual mark sheets for all semesters with all attempts of examination.
Submitting Unofficial vs. Official Transcripts:
The Office of Graduate Admissions accepts up-to-date, unofficial transcripts for admissions consideration; however, applicants must submit final, official transcripts if admitted to the program.
Evidence of degree earned:
Applicants with foreign credentials must also submit official proof of the degree earned (e.g., a copy of a diploma or certificate) with an English translation. Proof of degree documents must be in officially sealed university envelopes. The Office of International Admission will evaluate the equivalency of degrees earned outside the United States.
