Minimum TOEFL score requirement: overall score of 80 with at least 20 on speaking and writing
IELTS
Minimum IELTS score requirement: overall band-width of 6.5, with no single band (score) below 6.0.
GRE
GRE scores are optional for MFA applicants

GPA
The GRE is not required for admission to our MFA programs; however, if an applicant's undergraduate GPA is below 3.0.
CV
MFA applicants generally begin the process with interviews/portfolio reviews that take place during a campus visit or at national conferences such as URTA, LINKS, USITT or SETC. Those applying to the design program should submit a current resume and portfolio of their work in either traditional or electronic format (websites are permissible) to the head of design at rdunham@uga.edu.
Fee
Application fee: $75 for domestic students, $100 for international students

Your online application will also include three letters of recommendation to be transmitted via the online application (they cannot be submitted to the department).
Transcript
Transcripts of all previous academic work must also be provided to the graduate school (not the department). Unofficial transcripts are allowed for the online application, but if accepted to UGA you will have to supply official transcripts before starting classes.
