德克薩斯大學奧斯汀分校(University of Texas at Austin)PhD in Economics4語言成績要求
TOEFL
International students must take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and score at least 550 on the paper-and-pencil version or 213 on the computer-assisted exam. The minimum acceptable total score for the new iBT exam is 79. If you hold or will hold an undergraduate degree from a U.S. college or university or from an institution in another English-only speaking country, the TOEFL is automatically waived. It will not be waived if you have earned or are in the process of earning a Master's degree from a U.S. college or university.
IELTS
Official TOEFL or IELTS Scores are required. The minimum acceptable score on the IELTS is an overall band of 6.5
GRE
All applicants are required to submit official GRE scores. We cannot accept GMAT scores instead. The average GRE scores of students most recently admitted were 590 verbal and 790 quantitative. Please be aware that although high GRE scores enhance an application, the GRE is not our main selection criterion and does not substitute for a strong academic record. Conversely, GRE scores that are considerably lower than our average will weaken your application.. Please arrange to have your official score report sent to GIAC. We require all three sections of the GRE's "General Test" (verbal, quantitative, and analytical writing) and accept both the paper-based and the computer-based tests.
