TOEFL
Students whose first language is not English must demonstrate English proficiency with either a TOEFL, IELTS, or PTE Academic score. Students taking the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) must score either 213 or higher on the computer-based version, or 79 on the internet-based version.
IELTS
Students whose first language is not English must demonstrate English proficiency with either a TOEFL, IELTS, or PTE Academic score. Students submitting an International English Language System (IELTS) score must have earned a 6.5 overall score with no individual subscore below 6.0.
GRE
GRE scores are required for Master of Architecture applications. Master of Science in Architecture applicants need not submit a GRE score. Students who earned a B.S. in Architecture from the University at Buffalo need not submit a GRE score.

Transcripts
A copy of official transcripts must be uploaded to the application along with a copy of the certified English translation for all post-secondary academic work.
Admitted students will have to provide both official transcripts and proof of degree (either originals or Certified True Copies) upon arrival at the university. If Certified True Copies, the copies must be issued / stamped by either the Office of Records and Registration or the Examiner's Office. Copies certified as true copies by other university offices or personnel are not acceptable.
